Recently my friend and prolific painter, illustrator and all around true artist Natalia Fabia was featured in a Polish art magazine. Two of my portrait images of her were featured which was really nice.I shot this series a few months before her latest solo show Rainbeau Samsara at the Corey Helford gallery DTLA. Natalia is one of my favorite people to photograph because she’s either super serious or really goofy and she has a easy way about her. Projects are alway quick and simple to complete. These images were taken at her studio which is in Orange County,CA where she is based with her Husband and beautiful daughter.

I think probably because besides being interesting visually it also lends to a level of comfort for the subject and makes for a better true portrait. In my opinion.
